I am trying to get away from our analogue phones, and would like to tie into our existing VoIP servi. I am trying to setup a paging system for a 100m x 300m building. Hello,I am unfamiliar with VoIP paging systems, so please forgive my lack of knowledge. Best way to set up a VoIP paging system Collaboration. When I try to download the IKEv2 client profile I get an error, undefined:undefined.Īny idea how to get that certificate installed again? I thought that was created during the wizard setup since the import date was the same as when I first turned on VPN IKEv2. I removed the muvpn ike certificate via Firewire Web UI > System > Certificates. So while troubleshooting my initial problem after the update, I did something stupid. Okay, I've got a new issue after resetting up the VPN IKEv2. The main firebox, M300, has a USB stick in it for handling backups, I should go in and check to make sure it's still doing that since the update. I even tried importing a config backup file and it'd immediately bricked it again. Though word of note, I bricked one of my T30's and had to manually reset the entire thing due it wouldn't use the backup image of older firmware version. So I turned it off and redid the wizard Policy Manager and saved the saved config back to the Firebox.īojan Zajc - Yes I made a backup image of the machine before the upgrade. That allows you much faster recovery when something goes wrong.īrucebriggs - 1) If I change SLLVPN to use UDP in the evening, will the users see any difference when they log in the next day via the WG SSL VPN app? 2) Took your advice and fired up the Policy Manager (via my virtual Windows, Mac user here) and was able to see it was still active with older configuration. Whatever you do - please find a USB drive and make backups including firmware for all stages you might want to return to. ![]() Possibly this could be a temporary fix for your problem. So usually, when you apply an older firmware to the firebox, it would ask you if you want to restore the backup for that version as well. I think, the upgrade name also carries the version it was made for. Check the option for backup restore - version 12.x now saves a configuration backup automatically on the firebox during the upgrade. You are now between 11.x and 12.x, where I think also the backup process has changed, so I'm not sure, how a direct downgrade to 11.x would work for you. I'm used to make an additional backup to an USB drive. I hope, you have opened a support case with tech support, so they can have a look at your configuration.ĭid you make a backup before upgrading? Usually the upgrade procedure would offer you to make a backup. ![]() Unfortunately I have no idea what could have gone wrong in that part of your effort. Removing/reconfiguring IKEv2 and redeploying client configurations should reestablish VPN connectivity for your clients - in theory. ![]() I guess, that the large version jump has upgraded the certificates, what broke the connectivity for your clients. Having remote VOIP issues and occasional data not laying down in Filemaker database. So now I'm stuck and unsure what to do next.Īny help is appreciated, currently I have 30+ users remoting in via WG Mobile VPN w SSL app which isn't good, just good enough. Now when I get to the end of the wizard it's telling me "Muvpn-ipsec 'WG IKEv2 MVPN' is already in use" So I tried disabling IKEv2 in Fireware Web GUI and re-launching the wizard. Then re-adding it from a newly downloaded "WG IKEv2.mobileconfig" from the Firebox. I tried removing the "WG IKEv2" profile on my Macbook's System Prefs > Profiles and then removed the "WG IKEv2" setup under System Prefs > Network. Fireware Web GUI traffic monitor would show something in the likes of "ike cert chain failed". When attempting to connect from a Macbook, on the laptop it would say user authentication failed. I ended up updating the M300 Firebox's OS from 11.0.x (can't remember the exact sub-version) to the latest version, 12.5.3. It went fine and worked from a remote Macbook. Beginning of this week I set up Mobile VPN via IKEv2 using the Fireware Web GUI's wizard.
